Friends I need some letters of recommendations if you have the time. Short sweet to the point. Call me or text and ill give the back story. Write openly and candidly about those things of which you feel confident and knowledgeable. We need facts as well as personal opinions that will help clarify Steve’s background and accomplishments. I am hoping you will see this request as asking for more than the typical information contained in an ordinary reference letter. We are hoping to learn more about Steve’s character, values, personal relationships, work history, education, leisure interests, obstacles in life, and anything else you think will help place his application and moral character in perspective. Keep this in mind when you read what follows. Address the letter to: To Whom It May Concern, and scan and email to firstname.lastname@example.org 2. Your letter should be typewritten and if you have a business, or work for one, it is desirable to use business stationery, if possible. Please sign your letter. 3. Briefly summarize your background. Mention your employment as well as involvement you may have with community groups, churches, synagogues, schools, or civic organizations. Tell how long you have lived in your area. Be sure to include your address and telephone number although it is unlikely that anyone will contact you. 4. Tell how long you have known Steve and what your relationship is. 5. Describe Steve. Be graphic and thorough. Write so that a stranger reading your letter would feel they know Steve better based on your description. 6. If you are aware of his knowledge of and responsibility with firearms, indicate that fact. 7. Has Steve been the type of person who is helpful to others? Has he been productive and responsible? 8 Is Steve an honest person? Does he conduct himself in a trustworthy, ethical manner? Would he keep his word? 9. Would you describe Steve as a peaceful and rational person? Does he avoid confrontation whenever possible? Do you trust his judgment? Have you ever known him to act in a violent or aggressive manner? 10. Do you know steves reputation in general? Is he respected by his friends, family and coworkers? Simple letter my email is email@example.com if you need further info on why I am asking for this text or call me 925-708-5377 Thanks Steve … See more
